BEHIND THE BLOG – I am some random twenty-something undergraduate student,  aspiring journalist, and writer. I am of French and Italian nationalities, therefore it can happen that, from time to time, my linguistic abilities in English writing fail. Besides writing, I’m fond of art, literature, and photography and I’m curious about pretty much everything! I have a great interest in social justice, animal welfare, and the environment. I write poetry on here as well, or you can check out my Instagram here.

THE BLOG – In my writing, you may find some of my innermost thoughts and feelings, pieces of my life I never thought I could ever share with anyone. And yet, through the power of words, the grueling truths are being spoken. Please respect that at times I need that barrier of privacy to be shattered and that in writing I will always trust.

I love telling stories, be it from personal experiences or ones that I have heard, that touch people to the core and convey a positive message to my readership. These are what I like to call ‘inspiration pieces’, and often reflect my perception of life. Otherwise, when working on opinion and society-related articles, I try to make enough research so that the information I share is up-to-date and relevant and that I practice my journalism skills.

This blog will thus be shaped by random thoughts, ongoing society debates, and intimate reflections. It is an attempt to unravel my own perceptions of the world and share them with anybody that is willing to take this ride with me. Mostly, you will find an awful lot of honesty in my writing, for honesty is a value I work the hardest on. Don’t run away and, please, don’t be scared, you’re welcome into my world.
